Kattitude Education Centre Limited Announces Online Expansion of Cambridge YLE Phonics Programme

Kattitude Education Centre Limited has announced the online expansion of its Cambridge YLE Phonics programme, introducing a new hybrid learning model for young students. The move is designed to give families more flexibility while keeping the structured, exam-focused approach that the programme is known for.

Starting this term, the centre will offer live, interactive online sessions alongside its existing in-person classes. Parents can now choose between fully remote learning or a blended option that combines classroom time with virtual follow-up lessons. The online format will use the same Cambridge Young Learners English syllabus, with a focus on phonics, early reading, and pronunciation.

According to the centre's management, the decision came after repeated requests from parents who wanted continuity during travel, illness, or busy schedules. The online classes will be capped at small group sizes to maintain personal attention, and each session will include downloadable practice materials and progress reports.

The hybrid model also introduces a new assessment feature. Students will complete short weekly quizzes online, and teachers will provide individual feedback within 48 hours. This aims to close the gap between classroom learning and home practice, which the centre says has been a challenge for many families.

The programme targets children aged five to eight who are preparing for the Cambridge YLE Starters and Movers exams. The first online cohort will begin in the coming weeks, with enrolment open to both new and existing students. The centre has not yet announced whether the online option will become permanent, but early signs suggest it is here to stay.
