ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. - RuralEdge has added an August session to its Homebuyer Education Certificate Program, offering Northeast Kingdom residents another chance to prepare for homeownership. The program, which is part of the NeighborWorks America network, provides a structured path for people who want to buy a home but need guidance on the process.

The course covers key topics like budgeting, understanding credit scores, navigating mortgage options, and working with real estate agents. Participants also receive one-on-one financial counseling and personalized support to address their specific situations.
