In an exciting educational outing, pre-K students from Southwick Elementary School visited the construction site of their future school. Clad in hard hats and safety vests, the young learners were given a unique opportunity to witness the building process up close.
Guided by construction professionals, the students explored the site, learning about the various tools and machinery used in construction. They were introduced to the importance of safety on a construction site and the roles different workers play in bringing a building to life.
The trip not only sparked curiosity among the children but also provided a practical understanding of teamwork and engineering. As they observed the construction in progress, the excitement was palpable, with many students expressing their eagerness to return once the school is completed. This hands-on experience is expected to inspire a new generation of builders, architects, and engineers.
