It is no surprise that our communities here in Senate District 15 continue to face significant shifts in public education access and equity. From fluctuating state budgets to evolving classroom needs, the landscape of learning is in constant motion. In Sacramento, I remain a fierce advocate for increased funding for K–12 education and affordable college tuition, understanding that a strong educational foundation is the bedrock of a thriving society. My focus remains on creating pathways for every student to succeed, regardless of their zip code or family income.
Yet, legislative action alone cannot bridge every gap. Real change requires community mobilization. That is why I urge residents to "Get on the Bus"—not just a metaphorical vehicle, but a call to action. When parents, teachers, and local leaders ride together, we send a powerful message that education is a shared priority. Whether it is attending school board meetings, volunteering in classrooms, or supporting bond measures for updated facilities, our collective presence amplifies the demand for equitable resources. Every child deserves access to well-funded schools, qualified educators, and affordable higher education. By stepping up and showing up, we ensure that the future of our district remains bright and inclusive. Let us move forward together, committed to the promise of opportunity for all.
