To the Editor: As a mother of seven children, six of whom have graduated from Stamford Public Schools and three who are currently enrolled, I have dedicated decades to being actively involved in our local education system. My experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities that our schools face.
I believe it is essential for our Board of Education to embrace change that reflects the needs and aspirations of our diverse community. Our children deserve a learning environment that not only prioritizes academic excellence but also fosters inclusivity and emotional well-being. It is crucial that we listen to the voices of parents, teachers, and students alike to ensure that our educational policies are aligned with the best interests of all stakeholders.
By supporting candidates who prioritize transparency, accountability, and innovative solutions, we can work together to create a brighter future for Stamford’s schools. It is time for us to unite and advocate for the changes necessary to enhance the educational experiences for all our children.
